An August Contemplation

It’s never a loss, only the discovery of the other side — of life, of the world, of yourself:

  • Of things you thought you would never experience in life;
  • Of places you thought you would never visit, or even you don’t have a clue existed;
  • Of exploring further of yourself and your likings, your hobbies, your capabilities in doing things.

It’s never a loss, only gaining the other version of yourself. And perhaps it’s not a change of self either, only expanding.

The exploration of self, of things, of life is and will never stop until you decide to stop it. And whenever it is, it’s always too early to quit. To think that you already figured it out. To think you already know your capabilities, and won’t bother to upgrade, to try out new things. To think, “Oh, I know I’m capable of doing them, but it’s only a very little of something”.

This may be just a bit of realization about the essence of life.

Early morning thoughts.
